Farol Thomas Baldus, age 74, Buckner, MO passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 surrounded by his family. Farol was born December 22, 1939 in Buckner, MO the son of Noah Thomas and Katherine Edith (Campbell) Baldus. He retired after 40 years with Lyons Diecasting as foreman and supervisor. Farol was a life long resident of Buckner. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing or hunting and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shonna (Baldus) Burrus; and his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Sandy Baldus of 55 years; daughter, Donna Thorpe and husband John; son, Donald Baldus and wife Tricia; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Wayne Baldus and wife Barbara; sister, Kathy Yokley; and additional nieces, nephews, and family. Visitation was held from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Speaks Buckner Chapel; 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO 64016. Funeral services were held. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oakland United Methodist Church.
