Jackie Joann Burch, 67, Mayview, MO, formerly of Levasy and Buckner, passed away when her Heart of Gold had no more to give on March 3, 2013. Services will be 10 am, Friday, March 8 at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016; interment at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday March 7, 2013 at the chapel.
Jackie was born Jan. 4, 1946 in Lexington, MO on a cold and snowy night to the very loving family of Floyd Edward and Dorothy Mae (Knoche) Burch. She was known as Gma, Grandma, Mom, Aunt, Jack and many other names. She was a truck driver, card maker, bullet maker, cook, waitress, small business owner and farmer during her life. The role she treasured and the one that brought her the most joy, was being David & Susan’s mom and being a grandmother. She was a loving, caring, giving person who loved singing and laughter. She was a mother to many neighborhood children and was dedicated to helping others. She was many things to many people.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, and son Larry “David” Hibbs. She is survived by daughter Susan Clark and husband Marty, Mayview, MO; grandchildren Alicia Clark, Johnson County, KS; Tyler Clark, Blue Springs, MO; Kirstin Clark; Dalton Clark, both of Mayview, MO; Larry Hibbs, Independence, MO; great-grandchildren Nash, Mason, Blake and many friends and “kids”.
