The rumor mill has it, that Levasy Post Office is closing. Yes, this is just a rumor. The post office is on a review list along with 1,400 other post offices, mainly in rural areas, according to the United States Post Office. Coming under review doesn’t necessarily mean the post office will close. Offices selected for review will have 60 days to file their comments. If an office is to be closed they will be able to appeal the independent Postal Regulatory Commission.
